JOB DESCRIPTION
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team of Digital marketing experts at EBS Marketing. The role is remote working with time based at our Head Office in Basingstoke and our satellite office in Fleet.
We are looking for a client focused, professional, tenacious and highly organised individual to assist our busy agency team. The successful candidate will be flexible and provide support to the EBS sales and marketing functions.
JOB PURPOSE
To support EBS Marketing Head of Sales and Marketing with the completion of tasks throughout each stage of the EBS Marketing sales and marketing cycles. The role includes lead generation, management of sales leads, sales forecasting and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the sourcing of prospective sales opportunities with new and existing customer;
- Manage the storage of all sales and marketing materials in line with Company procedures;
- Update EBS Marketing CRM and maintain the status of opportunities;
- Direct sales leads to appropriate member of sales team;
- Follow up sales leads and record results;
- To work with the executive team and Head of sales and marketing to understand and deliver their administrative needs;
- Process sales data, metrics and progress reports;
- Assist with billing and supplier invoice management;
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence -logging and managing customer requests ensuring timely response from appropriate EBS Marketing teams;
- Assist with market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth;
- Solicit feedback from customers to assess levels of client satisfaction of EBS services;
- Manage EBS Marketing meetings and calendar -scheduling client meetings as required;
- Arrange travel and accommodation if required;
- General office support;
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ideally previous experience in an administrative role;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting at all levels;
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines;
- Demonstrable ability to multitask;
- Excellent organisational skills and detail oriented;
- Willingness to learn;
- Mature personality;
- Flexible and positive attitude to demands of the job;
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint plus a working knowledge of social media outlets would be an advantage;
